Gentle & Cleansing

Recommend, it leaves hair feeling super clean and lots of foam if you use it right. It took me a while to figure out you need to shake really well before use and keep adding water. After I figured that out it's now my go to shampoo to get rid of hair products and is gentle enough for every wash.


Aqua, Lauryl Glucoside, Decyl Glucoside, Coco Glucoside, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Glycerin, Propanediol, Camellia Sinensis (white tea) Leaf Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (matricaria) flower/leaf/stem extract, Citric Acid, Phenoxyethanol, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Hydrolysed Soy Protein, Potassium Sorbate, Lemon Scented Tea Tree Oil, Mandarin Peel Oil, Rosemary Oil, May Chang, Eucalyptus Radiata, Lavandin Oil, Salvia (clary) sclarea Oil, pogostemon cablin (patchouli) oil.

HOW TO USE:

  1. WET your hair in the shower
  2. SQUEEZE a 10-20c amount into your hand
  3. ACTIVATE by emulsifying between hands for about 5 seconds
  4. Work into your scalp in circular motions
  5. MASSAGE the suds down your hair (add water to assist)
  6. Rinse well

Want more suds? Repeat the process with half the amount of Shampoo.

  • Refresh Day

  • Preparation is key. Detangle any large knots or dreads pre-wetting your hair. This is the time your hair is at its strongest, and it will cause the least damage.
  • Cleansing your hair can be done every 2nd-7th day. Choose your cycle and stick to it.
  • Emulsify well in your hands first (rub between your hands while counting to 7). On 1st use, be sure to use the help of water to spread the product. If you don’t see suds, that means it’s cleaning something YAY. Keep scrubbing throughout the whole head in small circular motions. 
  • Rinse and repeat with half the amount of product.
  • If your hair is quite long, be sure to ‘swipe’ the shampoo through the mids and ends, this will lift any unwanted beauty/sunscreen products from the surface of the hair, prepping the hair for hydration.
  • NB: Remember the power of water to spread the product in your hair. Don’t always reach for more product.

Cleansing is saved exclusively for ‘Wash-Day’ so rest easy and focus on this one when that day arrives.

All of our bottles are made from recyclable materials that can be taken to your local Recycling Depot or placed in your Yellow Bin.


Simply rinse out the bottles to remove as much of the product as possible and replace the lid.  Then, simply wait for bin night - easy!


800ml Pouches

Finished your pouch and ready to recycle?  Take your empty pouches and place them into a TerraCycle® bin at any local MECCA store.


TerraCycle® is committed to 'Eliminating the Idea of Waste', partnering with many organisations and brands to help recycle the ‘unrecyclable’. They will take your used products and transform them into something useful!


NOTE: Please remove as much of the remaining product as possible before taking to your nearest MECCA store - a good rinse will help. They will not accept any dripping items, so please make sure your items are dry.

I also lost my curl. This is the worst product I’ve ever used. Not CG either
